2015 World Gymnastics

The 2015 World Gymnastics Championships takes place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 October – 1 November 2015. The event will bring together more than 500 gymnasts from over 80 countries around the world, for ten days of exhilarating competition in a stunning arena. This will be your chance to watch the world’s best gymnasts not only compete to become World Champions but to keep their Olympic medal winning hopes alive!

The first World Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Antwerp in 1903.  Now, over 100 years later, we take great pleasure in welcoming the 46th World Gymnastics Championships to Glasgow and we can’t wait to welcome the world.

Witness 10 days of thrilling competition as gymnasts compete for prestigious World titles to secure their place amongst the legends of the sport.  As a qualification event for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, every gymnast will aim to be at their very best in Glasgow.

The competition schedule will comprise 4 days of qualification events followed by 6 days of finals where gymnasts will compete in team, all around and individual apparatus events.
